ImageFifa has given Cameroon permission to use Portsmouth midfielder Franck Songo'o at the Beijing Olympics football tournament.
Football's world governing body approved the nationality switch for the French player ahead of the tournament which starts on Wednesday.
Cameroon successfully applied for a change in the national status of the 21-year-old, who although born in Yaounde had played at junior level for France.

A Fifa spokesman said Songo'o is now available for Cameroon, who have included him in their squad for the Olympics.

Songo'o is the son of former Cameroon goalkeeper Jacques Songo'o.

A change in Fifa statutes four years ago allows players who had represented one country at junior level to play for another country if they are entitled to dual nationality and aged under 21.
