More than 100 fishermen in Huíla province are benefiting since last August from working equipment to practise continental fishing, handed over by the Artisan Fishing Institute, Angop learnt. According to that institution's manager, Silvano Levy, the equipments includes fishing-nets, boats, signalling floater, hooks among others.
The source informed that this project is benefiting cooperatives of fishermen from Kuvango, Caluquembe, Matala, Chicomba, Caconda and Quipungo regions and it will be expanded to other districts.
